Turkey Day
Happy early Thanksgiving everyone! I think I'll be making some phone calls tomorrow, since it will probably be a pretty lonely day over here. John is in China still, and I'm not really looking forward to eating dinner alone when my thoughts are with all my dear family members back at home. So, eat some turkey for me, and hopefully next year we'll be able to have more of a celebration on this side of the Atlantic. Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Cynthia,
Thank you for the well wishes and we hope you have a good holiday nonetheless. Deborah and I are thankful that you have given us a reason to head out to Portland next summer. Happy thanksgiving and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Andrew
Hi Cynthia,
It's not so great to be abroad and alone over one of the holidays, but we'll hope you found a way to have some merriment on your own. We spent the day with friends who have two granddaughters, the Catherine of the main photo and a very young Elizabeth, whose Thanksgiving food seemed to be mainly pureed milk and squash.
