On "Dean Country"
The state chairman of the Oklahoma Democratic Party (Jay Parmley, good friend of John Maxwell and the Tharps) has just gotten himself into trouble by endorsing the candidacy of Howard Dean for the national chairmanship. The locals are complaining he's not the right sort of Democrat.

Sideways was mediocre, and that's more moderate than my initial verdict. The friendship between those two guys wasn't very credible or funny, although there were a couple of amusing wine-tasting sessions. But have you noticed that Sideways is big media subject matter right now? I feel like I'm constantly reading references to it.
