I guess this means we're really going!

So, family, we're really moving to Germany! We're so sad that we missed overlapping with various other Maletz's during their stays in Germany! The movers showed up yesterday, packed all our stuff, and wrapped EVERYTHING in brown paper. The cat narrowly missed being packed herself multiple times! Today a 20 foot container is sitting outside our apartment, getting loaded up! We're enjoying hearing some "mover's lingo" (for instance ... "Larry was agonna put that in a 3 3 unless you think we need a 4 6, over on top of the S O" ... any translators here???) but mostly just steering clear so they can get the job done. The very same container that is downstairs right now will be on a truck to a train, train to a boat, boat to another truck, and show up at our door in Germany ... Quite a big adventure for the new year!
