it runs in the family

Lucien, who has until now been the most easy-going of eaters, has begun to insist on feeding himself, with his own two chubby hands. This has brought about a total rethinking of baby food--gone are the purees, the finely chopped meats and veggies bathed in yogurt. Now we are all about latkes. Basically the same ingrediants, but now in the fritter format:



We keep telling him that one day he might be so lucky to try Uncle Andrew's legendary shepherd's pie latkes...

The star of the recent event in Portland here poses with her Father. She is holding the flowers, he is holding what definitely looks like a beer. After he was fortified with liquids, he later took his daughter onto the floor and both displayed their considerable dancing skills.
