Here's a view of the main lodge from the balcony of our room. We were about 25 yards away from the entrance. The bar and dining room were in the wing on the left. The photo was taken in the late afternoon, so the shadows are lengthening. Behind the building is one of the stark rocky hills in this area, composed mostly, one assumes, of quartz.
